Monitor every client site. Pay one flat price, not per seat.
Vigil by PuzariCloud gives an agency one account for all client sites: a status page and a monthly uptime report per client, separate client tenants when you need them, unlimited team members on every paid plan, and white-label on paid plans. Plans start at $19 a month (₹1,499 in India); the free plan covers 20 monitors.
What an agency gets
- A status page per client, private (login or password) or public, on the client's own domain with automatic HTTPS, their logo and colours. Starter includes 3, Pro 10, Business 50; more come in packs of 5 for $4 a month.
- Client tenants when a client needs their own login and data kept apart: switch between clients in one click, limits inherited from your plan. Pro includes 3, Business 25, plus 5 more for $20 a month.
- Unlimited team members on every paid plan, with owner, admin, member and viewer roles. Add the night-shift freelancer or the client's developer without a seat bill.
- White-label on paid plans: remove "Powered by Vigil" from status pages and put your own name on reports.
- A monthly report you can forward. Reports → Client report gives a printable monthly uptime report per client (all monitors or one status page's components) and a share link the client opens without logging in.
- Hacked-site and expiry checks agencies ask for: keyword appears/disappears, SSL expiry, domain expiry with registrar and DNS change alerts, security-header grading.
- Alerts where your team already is: Slack, Teams, Telegram, Discord, WhatsApp, email, webhooks, with escalation to a second channel set and on-call rotations.
Invoice math: flat price vs per-seat pricing

Sources: Better Stack list prices from betterstack.com/pricing (September 2026): $34 per responder, +50 monitors for $25, $15 per extra status page, $50 per page per month for a password. UptimeRobot from uptimerobot.com/pricing (18 October 2026): Free and Solo have no login seats for colleagues, so more than one person means Team or Scale; extra login seats $19 a month; password-protected and white-label pages are included on Team and Scale. Monthly billing; all three are cheaper billed yearly, and large customers may get discounts. UptimeRobot is cheap for many monitors and offers faster intervals (30 s / 15 s) than Vigil's 1 minute; what it does not include is server, log and cron-job depth, or unlimited seats.
Tools agencies already use
- WHMCS: the partner programme provisions a monitoring workspace per hosting customer from WHMCS (create, suspend, single sign-on), or from your own billing through the Partner API.
- WordPress: the free Vigil Health & Cron Monitor plugin adds a health endpoint and a WP-Cron heartbeat to each client site.
- Moving from another tool: the importer reads UptimeRobot, Better Stack, Uptime Kuma backups, Atlassian Statuspage and plain URL lists. Switching guides: UptimeRobot (with a calculator), Freshping, Uptime Kuma.
- Monitors as code: keep each client's monitors in git with the YAML config API or the Terraform provider.
Honest limits
- Checks run from one location in Germany (plus private locations you install in a client network); there is no multi-region confirmation yet. Failures are re-checked after 12 seconds before an alert.
- Hosted Vigil does not make phone calls or send SMS. If your off-hours escalation depends on a phone call, pair it with your existing paging tool through a webhook.
- Vigil is run by one founder in India (about). The self-hosted edition exists if a client needs it on their own servers.
