How to read this: every number comes from checks run from one location, Vigil's server at Hetzner in Falkenstein, Germany, every 5 minutes; there are no user reports and no second region. Durations and acknowledgement delays are accurate to about ±5 minutes. "Acknowledged after N min" is the time from our first failed direct check to the first status-page poll showing a problem; when several other services failed at the same moment the episode is treated as a problem on our side and left out. Components are not broken out: we store the page's overall indicator and open incident titles. Last 90 days at most. Official vs observed, all services.
What this check measures
Official status page (Statuspage API). Sentry's own public status page. Every 5 minutes we read the overall indicator the Sentry team publishes (operational, minor issues, major or critical outage, maintenance). This reflects what Sentry has acknowledged: a fresh problem can take a few minutes to appear there, and a problem that affects only your account, region or network may never appear.

Is Sentry down for everyone or just me?
This page shows what our own checks see from a server in Europe, independent of your phone, Wi-Fi or mobile network. If this page says Sentry is up but it fails for you, the problem is more likely local: your internet connection, DNS, your ISP's route, the app version, or your account. If this page shows failures too, it is probably down for many people.
What should I do if Sentry is not working?
Check the official status page linked above, reload or force-close and reopen the app, try mobile data instead of Wi-Fi (or the other way round), and clear the browser cache. For API, CI or deploy failures, retry with exponential backoff and check which component the status page lists; queued jobs usually resume on their own.
How often is Sentry checked?
Every 5 minutes, around the clock. Each check is stored, so the uptime figures and the history on this page are real measurements, not user reports.
