What this check measures
HTTPS request from our server in Europe. Stripe's public API health endpoint (api.stripe.com/healthcheck). It answers when Stripe's API edge is serving requests; it cannot see problems with one payment method or one country.
A passing check means Stripe's website answered our server in Europe with a normal page. It does not prove that logins, payments or the mobile app work, and a site that blocks non-Indian traffic would look down here while working in India.

Stripe not working? Questions and answers
Is Stripe down for everyone or just me?
This page shows what our own checks see from a server in Europe, independent of your phone, Wi-Fi or mobile network. If this page says Stripe is up but it fails for you, the problem is more likely local: your internet connection, DNS, your ISP's route, the app version, or your account. If this page shows failures too, it is probably down for many people.
What should I do if Stripe is not working?
Check the official status page linked above, force-close and reopen the app, try mobile data instead of Wi-Fi (or the other way round), clear the browser cache, and wait a few minutes before retrying payments so you are not charged twice. For payments or banking, a debit without a confirmation is normally reversed automatically; keep the reference number.
How often is Stripe checked?
Every 5 minutes, around the clock. Each check is stored, so the uptime figures and the history on this page are real measurements, not user reports.
How can I get alerted when Stripe has an outage?
Create a free Vigil account and add a monitor for Stripe: a dependency monitor that watches its official status page, or an uptime check of the exact URL your business relies on. Vigil alerts you on Telegram, Slack, Discord, email or webhook.
